Solder, Glue & Fillers

Low Melting Point Solder (78 celcius) for soldering white metal kits.
Use with liquid flux for easier flow
Best trick - keep your iron tip clean, brush on flux were you want the solder to go. NB use a small amount of solder it's easy to add but harder to take away.

Unpacked/loose 10 x sticks of solder
(useage guide I use 0.5 - 1 stick of solder to assemble 1 x lorry kit)

Liquid Flux used with our Low Melt Solder Sticks (can also be used to help to clean surface of brass to solder brass with mulicore solder.)

3 meter length of solder 60/40 (18swg)(with core of resin flux) ideal for soldering brass kits, and electonic components.
(approx 24grams)

'Devcon Two Part Glue' used to glue our kits.
A easy to use two part glue which dries to form a hard bond, its clear when set, and not 'stringy' in use.

A good general and high strength glue, many other household applications.

Super glue tube (3 gram) used to glue our smaller kits together or glue small parts together (ie lorry handbrakes & gearlevers)

20g bottle of medium viscosity Cyanoacrylate (superglue)

A 2 part epoxy filler. When mixed together feels like putty (plastacine) and can be shaped/spread into place with a small spatular, after hardening (about 1 hour) it can be filed / tapped or sanded .
A very useful product for filling those awkard gaps, or figure rework.

Tube of UHU glue which is ideal for glueing figures etc down to the baseboard. 33 gram tube The figures can then be removed/repositioned if required. (the glue isn't as permenant as 2 part epoxy)
