8 x Poppet Studs for mould making.

Developed by us over many years. These have a lock Ring with notches which prevents the stud from spinning and allows the locking and holding of the mould pair. The spherical Poppet side locates into the other mould pair and allows the mould sides to 'pop off when split apart.

Benefits

1. lock the moulds together to make cycling the moulds much faster (allows to remove the mould from the machine while the metal is semi solid and it holds the moulds together to stop damage to castings from early removal of the mould.
2. It makes the moulds easier to handle and store as any cores are safely kept in the mould when storing sideways which allows the moulds to be stored sideways and allows for quick removal of moulds from shelf.

Pack has 8 in a pack which is enough for 9 and 11" moulds we use between six and eight on each mould depending on mould diameter and how many parts in the mould.
